Jawbone Bluetooth headset audio samples

I’ve been using and enjoying my Jawbone Bluetooth headset since September.  Often people ask me if it’s worth the price for the unique noise-canceling feature.  To that question I have to enthusiastically answer with a resounding yes!  I have begun to question why other manufacturers have not yet come up with similar technology.

Whenever I’ve received (or placed) a call in the past I have had to be aware of any background noises within my surrounding area.  If it was not a quiet location I often how to go outside (or to my car) in order to have my conversation without the distraction of background noises.  I really do miss the old phone booths!  The Jawbone Bluetooth headset now allows you to make or receive those calls from those not-so-quiet locations.  It simply filters out any noise that’s not your own voice.  Although the technology is far more complex, I can best explain it by saying that the headset works it’s magic by detecting vibrations from your “jaw bone” to determine if you are speaking or not.

Perhaps the best way to demonstrate this is to hear it for yourself.  I found a small review of the headset that includes some sample sound clips that demonstrate how much the noise reducing technology helps and improves usability.  Check out the audio clips (4 of them ) in the middle of this review page:
