About Travel and Mobility

Mobile technology, tips and tricks for the road warrior.

This page is created and edited by a fun geek named Ellis.  Ellis is a technology professional and mobile strategist who has been involved in the development and mangagment of systems and mobile technology for over 20 years.  Ellis is currently working in a leadership role as a Principal Consultant in the field of remote systems management.

If it’s a mobile device (Tablet, Mobile phone, laptop, industrial data collection device), or if it’s connecting to a web-service, corporate or Federal government database, Ellis has likely worked with it, made it work, synchronized data to it, or wrote software for it.

… and then there is the fun part:

Ellis’ job takes him around the world where he has the opportunity to visit many different cities and hotels.  As such he’s become sort of an expert on travel tips and tricks.   Further, these trips make him the consumer of the very technology that he spends the rest of his time creating or implementing!  What better way to be excellent at a job than to know what areas of pain your customers feel, and personally learn what it takes to improve the experience.

Looking to share Ellis’ experience with mobile technology and strategy?  Want to find out where Ellis has been, and where the best place to eat and stay in a particular city?   If so, you are reading the right blog.  Enjoy!
